New digital reception modules in Chilean ports
The development of a new reception module of the “One-stop Maritime Counter” (VUMAR in Spanish), promises more efficient port calls, through a unified declaration of the required information upon arrival of a vessel at port.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTT), promoter of this new digital technology, this initiative is in line with the “Facilitation Convention” of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Port of San Antonio ends 2020 auspiciously
A pesar de la pandemia y sus desafíos logísticos, de personal e infraestructura, durante el año 2020 se transfirieron 22 millones de toneladas, una cifra equivalente al año 2019 y que augura un crecimiento para el año 2021.
Un logro que según la gerencia de operaciones del puerto, es resultado del esfuerzo conjunto del personal de los terminales, trabajadores portuarios y los operadores logísticos.

Der Hafen von San Antonio beendet das Jahr 2020 mit guten Aussichten
Trotz Pandemie und der damit verbundenen logistischen Herausforderungen für Beschäftigte und Infrastruktur, wurden im Jahr 2020 22 Millionen Tonnen umgeschlagen, eine Zahl, die der von 2019 entspricht und damit ein Wachstum für das Jahr 2021 verspricht.
Ein Erfolg, der nach Einschätzung der Betriebsleitung des Hafens, das Ergebnis gemeinsamer Anstrengungen des Terminalpersonals, der Hafenarbeiter und der Logistikanbieter ist.
