The development of a new reception module of the “One-stop Maritime Counter” (VUMAR in Spanish), promises more efficient port calls, through a unified declaration of the required information upon arrival of a vessel at port.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTT), promoter of this new digital technology, this initiative is in line with the “Facilitation Convention” of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

A pesar de la pandemia y sus desafíos logísticos, de personal e infraestructura, durante el año 2020 se transfirieron 22 millones de toneladas, una cifra equivalente al año 2019 y que augura un crecimiento para el año 2021.
