The development of a new reception module of the “One-stop Maritime Counter” (VUMAR in Spanish), promises more efficient port calls, through a unified declaration of the required information upon arrival of a vessel at port.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (MTT), promoter of this new digital technology, this initiative is in line with the “Facilitation Convention” of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).
